About
Born and based in Brooklyn, Christine’s work is shaped by her values of community and connection. Growing up in a large family, she developed a keen sense of listening and observing, skills that have profoundly influenced her approach to seeing and making art. After earning her BFA in Photography, Christine ventured into weddings, where she trained directly under Corbin Gurkin, one of the industry's top photographers whose work has appeared in Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, and The New York Times. Those four years allowed her to refine her skills while photographing a diverse range of individuals, including caterers, musicians, actors, and even presidents. Christine’s work balances the quiet intimacy of natural, documentary photography with the more structured formality of portraiture, creating images that are both candid and editorial in nature.
